FIFTEEN

I see some wrinkles
And gray hairs a-plenty.
The desks where we sat
Are long gone and empty.
Walking the hallways
where Laughter once played,
I remember full rooms
where we learned and prayed.
Down come old walls
making room for the new.
But I still see the pole
where our proud flag once flew.
Some mem'ries have passed.
Some years left unseen.
Yet safe in my heart,
you're forever fifteen.
